Introducing Kendra
Kendra Capalbo is a licensed therapist with a thriving, elite couples therapy practice in New England. Out of a desire to marry her two greatest passions – working with couples and travel – she created Esclusiva Couples Retreats.
While her practice allows her to focus on the problems that can arise in relationships, she also feels inspired to help couples who are already doing well on their own to reach a heightened level of relationship satisfaction. She recognizes the impact of the ambition tax on the relationships of highly successful couples.
Consequently, Esclusiva was created as an opportunity to maximize time by combining relaxation while actively working on improving one’s relationship. A firm believer that our romantic relationships are the nucleus of our lives, Kendra believes in the power of investing in those relationships as a key to overall success in life.

Assisting Kendra...
Candice Corrao will be assisting Kendra during the retreat.
Candice seeks out experiences that challenge her sense of self and enhance her connection with those around her. For over 22 years she has crisscrossed between Eastern and Western philosophies coming up with her own combination of knowledge and insight that she brings to her life and her mental health practice. She uses yoga and mindfulness to teach mind body connection, enhancing a person’s ability to tune in and listen to their intuition.
Candice is a Rhode Island based mental health clinician, sex therapist and registered yoga teacher. She has a partner of 20 years, 3 children and a dog. She likes to balance relaxation and mindfulness with fun, feeling free and opening to new experiences.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will we have to share?
To get the most out of the retreat, you would absolutely need to share with your partner but not necessarily with the group. If you do decide to share with the group, you won’t be required to share anything you are uncomfortable sharing. There will be plenty of opportunities to share in less vulnerable ways.
Are retreats only for heterosexual couples?
We welcome all couples who are seeking an environment to improve their relationship.
We’re already involved in couple’s therapy/counseling. Will we find this retreat helpful?
If you have arrived at a place in your therapy where you are continuing sessions as an investment in the relationship then you will find our retreats a helpful environment to further invest in your continuing development as a team and individually. If however you are in a major crisis then this is not the environment to deal with issues that would be better handled in a counseling environment.
Is the fee per couple or per individual?
Per couple, please inquire regarding the fee to bring additional partners if you are in a polyamorous relationship.
What are the start and stop times on retreat days?
There will be an optional activity each morning at 7:30 followed by breakfast at 8:30, end times vary based on the day.
